Emil W. Henry, Jr., Founder, CEO and CIO of Tiger Infrastructure Partners, is a recognized leader and innovator in private equity and public policy.

Building on a decades-long track record in high-profile government and private-sector roles, Emil launched Tiger in 2010 to provide transformational growth capital to enable the infrastructure of tomorrow. Since then, Tiger and its partners have deployed billions of dollars to develop, construct and operate new and next generation infrastructure across the Digital Infrastructure, Energy Transition and Transportation sectors in North America and Europe. Under Emil’s leadership, Tiger has emerged as an innovator in the infrastructure market.

In 2005, Emil was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. His foresight and leadership were recognized with the Alexander Hamilton Award, Treasury’s highest honor.

From 1990 until he entered government in 2005, Emil was a Partner and Managing Director with Gleacher Partners. As Chairman of Asset Management, he led the firm’s expansion into a sophisticated array of innovative alternative investments from its initial industry-leading M&A focus. PUT OUR STAKEHOLDERS
FIRST

Every decision that we make, whether large or small, short term or long term, should be viewed through the lens of what is best for our key stakeholders, primarily our investors and shareholders. Our first responsibility is to deliver for them. Everything follows from that, including the individual success of our people.

FOSTER A COLLABORATIVE
MERITOCRACY

Ours is a collaborative culture, but above all we are a meritocracy. Anything less is a disservice to our stakeholders and risks a path to mediocrity.

BUILD TALENT
DENSITY

Successful investors possess these traits: intellectual honesty and curiosity, analytical rigor, objectivity, consistently good judgment and a passion for investing. We look for investment professionals who either bring this tool kit of essential skills or show the promise to develop them in time.

BACK MONEY
MAKERS

A successful investment requires a host of conditions, but what correlates most with successful investments is the quality of a management team. We look for money makers.

GET THE SMALL
THINGS RIGHT

We believe that a focus on small things, such as attention to detail and the simple act of showing up on time, unleashes a virtuous cycle of productivity and efficiency.

FOCUS ON
RESULTS

We work hard because we are passionate about our business, but we recognize that results matter more than effort. Successful results require both hard work and smart work.

ONE TEAM

It takes a firm to deliver a successful investment. Deal attribution is for box checkers and the personally ambitious.

LEAD

Leaders are hungry for leaders. Each of us must seize times and places to lead. Lead often and whenever you are able.

CONTINUOUSLY
IMPROVE

Complacency is the graveyard of prior success. We must push ourselves to get better every day in everything we do.

MAINTAIN
OUR EDGE

Honing, improving and refining our edge will be key to the longevity of our business. Investors without an edge need luck to deliver superior results, and our investors didn’t hire us to be lucky.
